Located at Center of Health
and Society (former 'Kommunehospitalet') in Copenhagen, the Institute of Preventive Medicine is administratively associated with Bispebjerg Hospital.
The Institute of Preventive Medicine is a part of the Copenhagen University Hospital, which is an organisation for collaboration in research and academic pre- and post graduate teaching between the Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Copenhagen, the Copenhagen Hospital Corporation, and the Copenhagen County Hospitals.

Accomodation (hotel listing etc.)

Access to the building: To access the building, use the door-telephone (Øster Søgade 18, mounted on wall on left), by pressing "B + extension number" (example: B+3880 for deliveries). The extension number is the last 4 digits of the telephone number (e.g. 33 38 38 80 for the main number). There is an extension guide next to the door-telephone for your information. Parking: Visitors must get a parking permit from the Institute administration (Henrik Falk). PLEASE NOTE: The opening hours for the grounds are as follows: The grounds are only accessible from the gates at Øster Søgade 16 (open between 5.30 and 18.00) and from Gammeltoftsgade (open between 05.30 and 23.00).
